I was already thinking that the c207 would be the phone to get for my in-laws (I'll be eligible for upgrade mid-August). But I think I'll just do this and avoid the contract. When you consider that I'd have to pay the $18 upgrade fee to get the phone anyway, this phone really only costs $11.95!|

Love GSM. Only thing that sucks is I'm really only buying it so that I have a Samsung wall charger.

Out of the 4 only 2 have tracking. (and the tracking is not registered in fedex yet) |
free phones I was sure they are going to cancel the order.
I checked the other day, you can't just walk into a store, they don't hvae this phone for GoPhone, it's definitely web only.

![]() Funny... the reason I ordered the C207 is because I've just started noticing two small cracks on the left side of the hinge of my X427. I wonder if this is a common problem with the X427? Mine is 2nd week of September. Decisions, decisions... |

Everybody, make sure you get an official headset -- those black knock-offs (from eBay) don't work -- something about the plug connection -- you can hear, but no one can hear you. Oooh, I have a feeling there's gonna be a little run on cases, car chargers, and headsets for the c207. |

Say Marcster: Can you verify my observations? Is the C207's screen less bright than the x427? I'm wondering if maybe I was looking at a bad one in the store, or maybe the battery was low and it switched to a dimmer setting... |

However, it's not the end of the world. At least they got the right idea for name/phone number entry... They finally have a setting to capitalize the first letter of every word: for instance "Smith, John" without having to mess with the upper/lower/T9/Numbers button! That was SO annoying with the x427! But they had that on my ancient Nokia 3360. It's the stupid little things that keep Samsungs from being desirable -- being able to easily move names/numbers from the sim to the phone and back again, plenty of useless ringtones, lack of bluetooth on most of their line, etc. |

The Samsung is faster than the T237, and the screen is better. So are the keys. Everything is! WAP even seems a little faster. I'm DEFINITELY gonna be keeping this phone as my prepaid phone! It reminds me of my old Samsung a610, but way better. It's like a flip phone in a candybar-style format. I love it so much!
