My 7610 is dead

I've never dropped this phone and it only has about 6 months of use... HEAVY use.

It has died before when I've just been doing too much at the same time, but I've always been able to turn it back on. Sometimes, I've had to remove and put the battery back in before it starts.

Well, this morning, it happened again, but this time around, it didn't turn on. I then let it "rest" for a while and after about an hour, I tried again and it worked. However, I haven't been this lucky this afternoon. I was, once again, doing quite a few things on it and it died on me. It has been over an hour and I've already tried removing the battery and placing it back in, using a different battery I know is good, connecting the power cord, etc. To no avail.

Are these handsets really that sensitive?

Anybody had this happen to them?

Anything else I can try before I contact Nokia?

Can you describe what you mean by "heavy use"?? What the hell are you exactly doing with your phone? Just talking on it for a long time or using several applications?

Several applications at the same time, some of them quite resource consuming, like ProfiMail, AgileMessenger, etc. Sometimes I'll get a text message, click on View and the phone will shut off right there, maybe cause it's out of memory, maybe because of something else, who knows.

Update: I was just able to turn it on again.

It's understandable if I'm asking for too much and opening many applications at the time and causing the phone to crash (although, just like with any other operating system, this shouldn't happen). However, the fact that I cannot turn the phone back on unless I wait quite a while means there's something wrong with it and that I should be worried.

Shame lock\line doesn't insure the 7610.
