Since he on his feet a lot, it would help to consolidate items as much as possible in a convenient package. The main difference I've seen in between the Palm Treo 650 and BB 7100g is the price, obviously. Since he will basically be using it for organization, I thought of the Palm, but also since he doesn't need that many features and extras, I thought of the BB.
Please help me decide on my father's day present by listing some of your own experiences with these two devices. As of right now, I am leaning towards the BB due to price mainly. Is the extra $200 worth it to upgrade to the Palm? With cingular and him already being on a contract, the prices are 200 and 400 w/o being on a contract, for the BB and Palm, respectively. Thank you very much in advance! |

I would concur with the other posters in that, unless your father already uses Bluetooth, the Treo 600 might be an equally good (and cheaper) alternative. Also, I was wondering (as my father was also diagnosed and successfully treated for prostate cancer) what stage the doctor caught it in. Is he getting an operation, doing chemo or radiation? Hope you don't mind me asking. |

btw, you are such as a good kid to your dad. |
