smt 5600: how to find imei?

Hey, i got an audiovox smt 5600 but my mom through out the box. Any idea how to get the imei number? I looked all over but I couldnt find or figure it neways thanks. I want it so i can download some apps onto it from the ms site that require cingular customers to give their imei.. thanks

I just ran across a way to do this by dialing a few numbers and hitting call, then it displays on the screen...but, I can't remember the code...I'll see if I can find that post again...maybe someone else remembers the code.

Found it, dial *#06# and then call, the IMEI will be displayed...
So, you don't have an imei under the battery, very strange ?
