SMS Thru GPRS

I am enjoying my P910a that I just got, but have a question for those on AT&T or Cingular. I used to set my SMS to be sent via GPRS when I had my Nokia 9300. When I set the preference for SMS to be sent via GPRS on the P910a, it keeps getting an error saying that it could not be sent. Anyone knows how to get around it?
