i bought this phone for about a yr now and its reception is really bad

would changing the firmware help with the reception or no?(my firmware is the original one with tetris, herding sheep)

try *9999* when you boot up the phone and see which firmware does your phone installed with. Go for A51 firmware then. It might help.
