I cant get bitpim to see my phone. what kind of hardware do i need? ihave a data cable

Make sure under 'settings' you have it set to "Other CDMA Phone" and the correct COM port

There are lots of threads on this please search before asking the same questions over and over again.
The thing I can not stress the most with bitpim is make sure you have the latest version also you will only be able to edit the file system the rest of the tabs don't work so if you are not sure with what you are doing don't do it. READ AS MUCH AS YOU CAN ON HOW TO USE BITPIM BEFORE USING IT!!!!
