Anyone in Canada have experience with these folks? If so, I'd love to hear your feedback on the service.

I have Vonage.. service is good for me, I'm on Rogers Cable 3MB down 384Kb up..

the server right now is still in New Jersey, so you cna't call Canadian 1-800 numbers or 310-#### (pizza hut, etc) no's cuz it thinks you're in teh US.. but they are saying they are getting a server in Canada (Mississagua ON) this summer, as well there is a new Call Centre opening in Miss. this month too..

as disscussed in other threads here and as well at www.vonage-forum.com/forum5.html there are some other CDN VoIP providers, Primus is one, they have cheap rates, but do not offer all the same features and they do not have US virtual numbers, only other CDN virtual numbers, and I think they limit the number you can have, with vonage you can get a VN in every area code they offer if you so desire.. lol..

the activation fees are kinda rediculous with Vonage.ca but once you get up and running for a few months, you'll likely have the savings over your local Bell or Telus line..

I am happy with my Voange, only had an outage once, and it was accross the board Can/US .. for a few hrs one thursday afternoon.. that was like March or soemthing..

I think a lot of the existing VoIP providers are spreading into Canada with unlimited service. It seems a logical step for most of them. SunRocket, my provider, added unlimited Canada a few months after it started, and it works really well.
