What's the retail price for a 650 from cingular? I'm still in contract and not eligible for an upgrade.

go get one off ebay cheaper then getting it from cingular full price.

If you are at least 1 year into a two year agreement then you may be eligible for an exception upgrade. You pay the 1 year phone price ($50 more than a 2 year agreement) and have to sign a new 2 year agreement. If you are at least 1 year into a 2 year agreement and have an ARPU (average revenue per user) of $75 or higher then you may be eligible for a standard upgrade. To see if you qualify it would be best to see your local store. There are some other guidelines they have to check as well such as payment history and rate plan. My store does a lot of exception upgrades for customers with phone problems after the warranty is up or if they just want a new phone. It's something that is worth checking out cause it could save you some money. Sometimes I even am able to do exception upgrades for customers with less than a year of their agreement completed.

Amazon has the Treo 650 for like $547 w/ free delivery and no contract.

you can also save another $30 if you sign up for an Amazon VISA credit card.

they will apply the $30 promo to the phone's price if/when you are approved for the card.
