I am thinking of finally pulling the trigger and getting one. It seems that they go from anywhere from 650 on up. There is a guy with a buy it now for 711. DOes this guys seem fishy? Any other suggestions on where to get one at a decent and trustworthy place and price?

It sounds like he, the seller is from New Mexico but the shipment will be coming from florida, so this seller is like the middleman.

I wouldn't do it unless I could go pick it up and pay, or if you have an extra 741 laying around.

Word is the MPx300 is not a good phone, not enough internal memory to run programs. But to each his own.

In this case, caveat emptor, they try to explain away the negative feedback they have received. Also, there is a reason why the MPx/Mpx300 was discontinued. Run away! Run away!

My advice is to stay away from it. There IS a reason why they stopped making this model. Its a fair chunk of change to drop on soemthign that either A). will not arrive or B). will not work as well as you expected.

I really want one of these phones too because the form factor and the idea behind the phone is genius but there is a reason that its not being sold moto really should just beef up the memory so it functions properly because this is an awesome lookin phone

yeah I noted all the aforementioned. Any advice on a suitable phone that does all the mpx 300 does including 1.3m camera?

lol the mpx 220 is a ****** 1.3 mp phone, i hav never seen something ******** than the mpx 220's camera. my v400 cam was better than it. HAHA

My MPx220's camera is not bad (it is a phone first) I have seen worse cameras but if you want a good camera go buy a Digital camera. But for quick shots here and there my MPx220 does an okay job and the pics look good (better than other camera phones
