(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Ugh! I have to open my phone out once a week to keep the external LCD clean, it just gets COVERED in dust. Has anyone else had this problem, and found a solution? Maybe get some foam and glue it around the LCD cover in the hosing?

No dust here....you must of been in a area with ALOT of dust....the besel is seal pretty well.

Posted by: orion2087

I don't think its my area, I think its just pocket lint comming in through the speaker.

I've had that problem with all my recent phones: Nokia 3560, Noka 6200, and 3 Moto V180s. It's so annoying.

I would contact Cingular on that and see if you can get an exchange. It sounds like this screwed up something on the phone. With all the dogs and everthing there is a ton of dust by me and I have not problems.

mine phone has been in my pocket around 10 hours a day, moving around at work for about two months, no dust yet, may be your loud speaker is not sealed in properly.

Yes, wow, very good, pointing that one out. Oh, snap, looks like theres something wrong "wit ur" pointless posting judment! :emoticonspam: :morespam:
Oh, great job on the word "loser", spelling ace.

Anyway, this isn't enough of an issue for me to want to get it replaced, its got just about as much set up on it as I've got on my computer. I suppose I'll just try installing some little foam bits in there or something.

Yeah, I don't get it. I just can't understand why so many people can't spell "loser". It blows my mind, really!

Oh yeah, no dust in mine by the way. 2-3 months and not a spec. Although my screen protectors won't help at all against dust, I must say that Clear Vue silicon "adhesive" screen protectors are the bomb. They stick well, fit well, come off with no residue and can be washed and reused. Highly recommended to protect the outer screens as well as the internal screen (from the keypad rubbing it).

Mine doesn't have dust under the screens. The case does collect some dust with interfere with viewing the screen, but I clean it regularly.
