My wife and I just got new mpx220s and activated with tmobile. Everything is running smoothly so far. I ended up using Omega's guide to put 3.45 on mine (thanks ), but she opted to stay with the unbranded 1.32 that came with the phone.

The only problem so far is that when she plugs her phone into the usb cable, it doesn't connect a lot of the time. She has to hold it just right. Is this something that can be fixed, or should I try to exchange the phone for another? I bought it from mobilebee and they have a 14 day exchange policy so I should be covered....

Thanks for everyone who has posted anything helpful here

I'd exchange her phone....Sounds like it's ripe for the charging port problem

I'm glad I bought from a store and not someone off ebay

Don't diss the CE Bus yet, try a different data cable...most of the time its the data cable, if you phone charges fine by the travel charger than its more than likely your data cable....I had to replace mine 3 times until I got one that actually worked right.

When we plug in the cable it looks like only the power pins make contact by default....

Maybe it is just the cable....

I just tried sync'ing her phone using my working cable and it didn't work (only the power pins connected).

Mobilee has a no hassle return policy though and has already sent me a shipping label, so at least we won't be out any money.
