Hi,

Can you remove the mini SD card while the phone is still on (but it's not being written or read from)?

i think its advised to power off the phone, but its totally not necessary

i remove and reinsert my card all the time when my n840 is on.

What he said^^. Same with me, I do it all the time. If its being read from, the screen will just say "please insert card" and thats about it.
