(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I'm thinking about getting one of these phones. Should I wait for the slider or would it be better to get the koi now?

id go with the koi for now then get the slider remix when it comes out, or a little aftr. Because from the look sof it the slider remix wont be out anytime soon, and right now the kx2 is my bes tphone with vzw and ives use many, just went from 6100 to lg vx7000 to koi and i love it

Is the koi comfortable to talk on? It looks like it might be a little uncomfortable.

it doesnt feel much different than my othr flip phones, the earpieice is low, but bcuz the speaker is in the earpiece if u leave speaker on and just keep it at like low it sounds great

Sorry for all the questions, but how many pictures can you hold on your phone?

Posted by: triple5soul8781

it matter what resolution its in. If you keep it in like 640 by 480 or 320 by 260 u can store quite a bit, i have 40 pictures, 8 videos, like 19 ringtones and i still have 80 percent of my memory left

I strongly think you should get the koi.The koi looks better than the slider remix.I would pick the Koi over the slider remix because the slider remix antenna does not come out.Which means the reception will probably be horrible. The Koi's antenna does come out.I haven't had a dropped call yet.And I use my phone all day long.Koi is certainly better. This is Kyocera's first swiveling phone and second slder. So the swivel is rare.

I still have my Koi. I got it first when it came out and had to wait on the **** data cable. Once the Slider Remix gets out, im selling mine. Mine is in ****ing awesome cond. There is only one little paint chip by the screen, but the screen is flawless cuz I have protectors on it.

does anyone know anything more about the release of the remix other than probably quarter 3 of the year?

The KOI may be loaded with features, but to me it still just looks like another flip phone only with a gimmick. Instead of flipping open you twist it. And once it's open it looks exactly like a long flip phone.

Also imagine people who aren't left handed (most of the population). If you noticed, you have to push the clam shell portion of the phone to the RIGHT in order to twist it open. That means you can't open the KOI with one hand unless you have it in your left hand. I am left handed so this wouldn't be a problem for me...but righties would probably get annoyed by this after a while...or they'd just have to get used to it.

It's too bad you can't twist it open both ways instead of only to the right. That means if you want to open it you'd have to hold it in your right hand and push with the left hand. Sounds like a pain in the *** to me if you're not left handed.

On the other hand, I don't like the look of the Slider Remix at all, and it's not even out yet. I say don't get either.

The slider is very ugly.It looks terrible. It looks super ugly.It looks very fat and uncomfortable to hold.I wouldn't get it.The slider remix can kiss my butt.

I'll take this little comment I just read from another thread as added support to my argument:
