Hello. New user here and I have a question:

I have an N-Gauge and one of my MP3's I have on my MMC also appears on my list of stuff to use as a "new message" sounds. Is there a certian list of specifications that an mp3 can have so that I can use it as a new message sound?

I don't quite understand your question. Do you want to use the mp3 as the SMS/message notification tone?

Yes. I want to make my own custom sounds for the "you ahve new message" notification on my N-Gauge.

Ok, you would need a program that would allow you to compose your own ringtones and then you would need to convert these to a format understood by the N-Gage. In your case, an mp3 conversion program is what you would need as you may know.
