i've been reading about this, is it still available and what exactly is it, im new to this forum .... im in toronto

thanks

I dont know specifics, but I know bell often has group rate promotions. Under APEGGA, you can get a plan at a bit of a discounted rate, and 25% off all bundled features.

Be careful, read the fine print, a lot of the advertised group rate promo pricing doesnt include a system access fee and 911 fee, which usually bumps the price up to something quite comparable to the all-in-one plans available to the general public.

is it possible to add some daytime minutes to that ? possibly 50- 100 ? or will my phone not work during the day or will i be charged 10 cents a min or so?

thanks

Posted by: lp_papillon

You get 50 daytime minutes free only if you sign up for a digital bundle (requires expressvu or sympatico)...

If not, you can add 100 minutes for 10$ more.

Posted by: prae

making it exactly the same as the extreme plan, correct

Posted by: prae

except im not sure if extreme includes the touchbase

Posted by: lp_papillon

I'm not 100% sure since the extreme plan is only available in western provinces (BC only?), but I think extreme includes unlimited incoming calls, which CAA doesn't have. I'm also pretty sure it includes touchbase, since it's an all-in-one plan.

Posted by: jokerstone

what is touchbase and also, is this a plan straight from bell mobility or is it through another company

Posted by: lp_papillon

Where do you live?
The extreme plan is not available everywhere...
If it's available in your region, then you would be able to get it - it's a promo Bell plan, not an EPP/INDV or CORP plan.

Touchbase gives you 20 free calls a month to 1 perticular (local) phone number of your choice. Those calls are unlimited in talk time.

This plan is through Bell Mobility, Touchbase is a feature that gives you 20 calls to one dedicated number (you specify the number) and no matter when you call as long as it is part of the 20 calls the airtime is free and unlimited for that call, however it won't cover long distance.

I LIVE IN TORONTO ONTARIO Canada...

if the company i work for has a corp plan does that mean they are EPP ? the plan is horrible so thats why im wondering about the CAA plan

Posted by: lp_papillon

Yes, that does mean it's an EPP, and that probably renders you eligible to the Business All In One promo with that plan:

100 daytime minutes
Night & Weekends (8PM - 7AM)
Free call display
Touchbase
= 25$ (no extra fees)

Edit: well actually it doesn't NECESSARILY mean it's an EPP. When you say corp plan, do you mean that the employer has a corporate account and pays phone lines for their employees? (that would be a CORP account, or a simple business account)
Or that they have a special rate plan with Bell available to their employees - paid by each employee? (this is an EPP)

jokerstone,

The best is to look it up at CAA web site. If you are a member, register and log in there. Check around with the retailer promo. If you are not a CAA member but you know someone is, he/she can help you. As long as you have got a membership number to quote when sign up / order, it should okay.

Posted by: lp_papillon

No you cannot, new activations only...

Posted by: jokerstone

just walk into any store and ask for the business all in one or ZBN.. say that you have CAA membership

but again, you cannot migrate and existing number/account over to that plan, if thats what you're intending to do

Posted by: jokerstone

nah i dont mind if my number changes , no big deal
