Hi all. Do you guys recommend any driving school in North York (sheppard/yonge area or yonge/finch area) or in downtown toronto as i want to practice driving when i get here? I also want to learn some skills in winter driving as well..is there any sounded driving schools that you guys can recommend me? My first language is cantonese so i prefer cantonese spoken driving instructors..as well as reasonable rates..and i would like to know approximately how long will the lesson be and about how much is one lesson? Are there any packages in such as paying a lump sum it includes everything including the road test to get G2?

Any information is greatly appreciated.

Jeff

lessons are 1 hour but u only drive for 35-45 mins, from exp and feedback.

as per winter driving, its one of things that u learn by practice, and well confidence

price per lesson is around 20-30 depending

i suggest u look @ yellowpages and shop around.

a bit expensive, but I would recommend: www.shifters.ca

edit: nevermind, they don't teach in Cantonese

thts out of my budget..actually is it common to have pick up service for driving school or i need to go to a certain location for my lessons?

I think most driving schools will be able to arrange for pickup.

oh btw - I live at the Yonge/Sheppard area myself. Seeing the locations you mentioned - you plan to attend UofT?
