Any word on when the TREO or TREO 650 with wi-fi will be coming out? I Like the bluetooth and e-mail and web browser, sync and all. Also, anyone tried mapquest or similar on TREO. Does it work well?

Thanks.

There is a wifi sled that will be coming out for the Treo supposedly this month. Saw it in person at the Roadshow. It was pretty cool.

Speaking of sleds, why is the Palm cradle not designed for the 650? It fits the Tungsten T5 and LifeDrive, and it would be nice to have a cradle. Am I missing something here?

It's not a sports car, it's a cradle.. What is it you expect a cradle to look like? Gold plated? Does it need Rims? needs to have shocks on it?

I don't understand what you want it to look like?

The problem with the SD-card solution (if they just let the SD WiFi card work int eh 650) is that then you have no memory space.

And it saps the already overworked battery.

True, although for me that is not that big a deal. Whenever I buy any device (especially a phone) that has removeable batteries, I buy several extra batteries so that I can just change the discharged one for a charged one when I need. The lack of memory, however, creates a real problem. It would mean that you have to decide between having WiFi access and having all of your programs and files. That would be impossible for me!

1 -Can I use bluetooth with the treo 650 to connect to my desktop and surf the
internet or this can only be done with wi-fi?
2 - Does wi-fi exist, where can I get it and how much?
