Hi all,

Before I get my well deserved for being a newb, I did actually google and search the site for info on the following question. I came up with a lot of usefull info, but not specifically what I want to know.

What I want to know is I have an MPx220 on Cingular (Although, it's actually the Hong Kong Version with the Cingular Software and V1.43 of the firmware [Thanks to some reading I did on this forum ). I also have the 19.99/month unlimited Media Net package, but no TXT package. My question is, the messages that I send using my GPRS connection through MSN MEssenger built in to Windows on the phone, are those data or TXT/IMs?

Thanks!

Peace,

Rafster

What mms gateway is it using?

Posted by: rafster

Well, I went into MMSC settings, and here is what I found:

Name: Cingular MMS
MMSC URL: http://mmsc.cingular.com
WAP Gateway: 66.209.11.61
Port: 9201
Max Sending Size: 250K

Is this what you meant? Just out of curiosity, what does MMS have to do with MSN Messenger?

Peace,

Rafster

Actually, it's funny that you mention that. I was about to post it in the Motorola or Smartphone subforum, and then I thought... "hold on a second... this is more carrier dependant" so that is why I posted this here.

Believe me, on some other forums that I belong to, I'm the first one to someone for putting **** where it don't belong.

Peace,

Rafster
