V3 camera-- how bad is too bad?

i've heard that the razr camera is crappy, but hadn't messed with mine until today. i now wonder if mine is much worse than it's supposed to be-- the focus is very bad over a large part of the image, at any depth.

i'm tempted to swap this out for a new one with a functional camera-- i got the phone a week ago. or, are they all this terrible?

Thats about normal, with the RAZR you pay extra for size and style, not features.

The quality looks great compared to ones I've seen online.

I guess it all depends... I took this pic earlier today without very good lighting indoors. I think it came out pretty good, much better than other vga cameras I have had:

That doesn't look bad-- it's a decent picture in terms of even focus. I think mine is bad... looking for more examples. does anybody mind shooting a grid with their V3, or something with sharp features all over frame?
