Help! Moto C333 or Nokia 8390?

I can't seem to decide between the Moto C333 or Nokia 8390. I currently use the 8290 (1st generation) and I HATE it! Reception is horrible and my LED screen disappears all the time... especially in cold weather.
I don't care about gadgets or games. I just want to be able to talk on the phone without losing my signal indoors and with minimal break-up.
Please give me some advice (pros and cons) for both phones. So far, the C333 is very appealing to me. Its small, light weight, and very affordable. I want to buy it but keep getting pushed towards the Nokia 8390.
Help!!!!!

Stay away from C333 if reception is important to you. Haven't tried the 8390 so can't comment about that. Best bet: Samsung N105 (about $200 CDN shipped up here). Hands down the best reception I've seen, never had a problem with it. Holds on to a signal like there's no tomorrow... elevators, underground parking lots, etc. (There are some problem spots, of course, but that's all Rogers fault.)

i've only used a c333 so i'll give you the pros and cons of that
pros:
good design
solid feel
polymorphic ring tones
nice menus
nice sound quality
cons:
no alarm clock
takes a while to change profiles (more steps than a nokia)
terrible battery life
ability to hold a signal is less than steller in doors

Ive Tried both and if RF performance is important to you get the 8390 its much better especially if you have the latest flash on it v7.80.

I just bought an 8390 and I love it. It took a little getting used to the size but that's one of the main reasons I chose this model.
Battery life is great even though some reviews I read said it wasn't.
LOVE IT!!!!

Haven't tried the C333, but the 8390 with v7.8 SW is really hard to beat in terms of RF. Definitely outguns my T68i (duh?), and it is also significantly better than the 8890. I think the 8390 is prolly the best RF phone for an internal antenna design.
I really like the 8390 overall, if it wasn't for the colour screen on the T68 (addictive), it would definitely by my #1 phone. My personal pros and cons for the 8390:
Pros:
Small Size
Great RF for an internal antenna design
GPRS with IR (handy wiht a palm or pocketpc)
Good keypad feel
Good Menus
Nice bright white lights!
Cons:
No polyphonic (C333 does)
No colour screen
Lots of bugs in earlier version of the phone

I've used it for about 2 weeks now. Not since the 8290 has a phone appealed to me in looks like the way this one does. When I first saw it I thought wow! But the features are good, but not too impressive. I wouldn't say its the best phone but for a low end phone Motorola makes this one worth the cost. Only thing pushing me to sell is the fact that it is so cheap. The prices Rogers ATT is offering now are so cheap that this will eventually be as common as the 3300 series.
Compared to 8390....
Hmmm, I would go with the 8390 still

i had the c333 for about a week..noticed it had weak reception..batt life is quite poor...talked for about 1hr straight..and almost drained the whole thing....
PROS
-cute..silver looks really nice
-really loud for such a small thing...
-customizable menu
CONS
-low batt life
-poor reception
-intergrated battery...so if it screws up...your whole phone is gone~
8390
noticable improvment in reception...very trendy...
white light..is very nice...
better phonebook...500..also can put more than 1 number under 1 entry.....
PRO
-better reception
-more modding avail.
CON
-firmware probs
8390..wins!

i would stay away from the c333 it has got alot of problems, battery life is worse than a color screen handset(has a internal battery) keys are very very small as well as screen, terrible reception, drops calls all the time, wont work in places where my v60 gsm was perfect, only good thing was incoming sound quality, all in all i'd say it's a bad handset

I would take that extra step and get the 6590i. You should be able to get it for $50 after rebate. Best out of the three and not too expensive.

Ive been using the C331 for about 2 weeks now and am very pleased with it so far,the only problem is the "reception" as some people have posted,i actually got a very good signal in my area but i would always hear background static so i took it to the place i got it from and they were like "its normal" "no phone is crystal clear" so it made me pretty mad,but the other day i took it directly to Cingular and they gave me a new phone and i tested it out in the store to make sure it worked right this time and ever since i havent had static of any sort.
I really havent tested out the battery life on it yet so i cant comment on that.

I would to say 8390, my bro has a C333 and it always has a weaker reception than my 8390. As everyone also said, the battery life sucks! My bro always complains about the battery.
As for other comparions, the size of each of them are almost the same, the polymorphic ringtones aren't really loud...Oh yea, if you have other friends with 8390s, you can play Snake II against them hehe(infered port).
