For synchronising the contacts between Outlook and my Motorola MPX 220,
I use, as a lot of people , Activesync , but I cannot choose the fields and I cannot map these fields .

Can somebody tell me if there a soft more efficient to synchronize ????

What the hell is soft more?????

As for ActiveSync....its the only thing that will work with the MPx 220.

I thought that PDASYNC (which works for Pocket PC 2003) or a similar soft could replace activesync...

or more simple , a good soft of "Contacts management" ...

All I can say is try it....I have never used it. I personally like ActiveSync...works well with Outlook.

Activesync works fine for me. I don't know any other SOFTWARE out there for smartphone, that works like activesync

On that note, sorry to divert a lil, but HOW exactly do yall sync your hotmail folders from outlook 2003? When I sync, only my POP folder gets to my phone. I have one pop, one imap, and 2 hotmails set up in outlook 2003. How do I get them all to sync to my phone?

Thanks.

You don't...if you want to use Hotmail in Outlook on your computer you need to download and install Pocket MSN for Smartphones.

Pocket Outlook will only sync to the content of personnal inbox folder, to bypass this limitation you could have a hotmail account configured in outlook and redirect the inbox to a subfolder of the personnal inbox, ugly fix but works fine, there is a new software that could suit you need, version 1.0 for smartphone just been release, you might want to have a look at Pocketmirror for smartphone.

There is an HTTPMail plugin for smartphone, whether it works or not I don't know, but it gives your Pocket Outlook the ability to pick up your hotmail...just saw it on handango or smartphone.net the other night...

There is always the mobile.msn.com option to check hotmail too...or paying for Pocket MSN software...the mobile.msn.com option doesn't give you any notification that you have mail, so you have to check it...but I find it acceptable for checking email even over a very slow GPRS connection where I live, I barely get 40kbps, but it's enough to use mobile.msn.com.

I have looked at the Pocketmirror for smartphone software.
It seems to me that it's not possible to map the fields ,
and on the other hand, the price is incredible for the low level of improvments it gives !!!
