1. Does it support mp3 ringers, or just polyphonic MIDI?
2. Any freeware mp3 to midi converters? Is it even possible?
2. What are the bmp specs for wallpaper?
Broke down and bought the data cable from froogle for $15. Downloaded GAGIN, and it works well. No need for KPD. Couldn;t get bitPIM to work, it wouldn;t detect the phone.

Don't know about Q1 or 3. Q2 - tried to convert mp3 to midi with no luck whatsoever. Sorry I can't be much help otherwise.

OK - found out that the KX440 (and probably the KX444) will run polyphonic MIDI files as well as the standard KWS files.
