9900 ringtone email troubles

i have used mail2world and yahoo to send email rings and pix. the pix work great but the rings dont have any sound! they save as ar10 in the tones menu but when i pick them there is no sound. i tryed small .mid files with no luck. i have read the posts but still no luck. please help!

i have sent through yahoo plenty of times, works everytime. when you receive the message, are you using the save sound option?

are u sure ur making the ringtones correctly? even alittle bit can cause it not to work

i got the tones through but they sound terrible! sounds worse than a voice note recording. i dont know how to set the tone to make it sound better.

I'm in the NY metropolitan area market. The attachment is being stripped out of the e-mail. VZW caught on about 5 months ago.
