All my mp3 and downloaded tones are gone?

I was messin with my phone on bitpim tryin to put a song i just downloaded in the mms folder so i could send itto someone. it sually works but when i deleted the mmsindex.map thing and the other map files it all got messed up. i took out the battery and put it back in like normal to restore the songs, but all the mms songs i had like from pix messagews andfrom the internet were gone! HELP!

ya. they r still on my phone but dont show up on phone itself just bitpim.

I dont think I understand you correctly, what's missing the map files or your ringtones? Why are you deleting the map files when adding ringtones?

At least I know I'm not alone...
I just had a similar experience with my pics.
my pics are still there but I can't view them. Try using QPST if you can and use EFC Explorer to see if your info is still there...
