8000 limited to 11 ringtones?

haven't seen this anywhere yet so has anyone noticed the 8000 only displaying 11 custom ringtones?
I've uploaded more, but they fail to show up, even after deleting snd.dat (sound.dat). (whatever the name is)
it's got me stumped that it seems you can only have 11 custom ringtones while still having memory to work with, and kinda sucks because I have just a few more I want to sqweeze in

do you mean 11 thirty second mp3 clips or full songs, i have like 3 full songs on mine but im scared to put more on i dont want my phone the break

i got about 29 on mine, half mp3s and the other is mixed!! now says memory is full
