the voicemail icon is not a setting on your phone that you can change, its a message being broadcast by your network. leave a message on your number, then call your vm retreival number (not the same as calling your own number) then check the message, delete it, then exit the system properly, you might have to press * or # to exit correctly,depending on what your greeting tells you, then it will clear the icon. try and lettus know

I was just logging on to ask about another icon that won't disappear on my V3. It appears along the top next to where the AIM icon would be. It's a voice bubble like you see in comicbooks with "..." (three dots) in it. It looks like the symbol seen in the manual for "AIM Message" but it isn't quite the same.
Earlier today I rec'd an email "chat" stock alert from Hotmail / MSN. I tried to respond to it for "m"ore info then not sure what happened. Could it be that this "chat" is still in progress out over the airwaves, and if so any idea how to resume/end it so the icon disappears? I'm on Rogers. Thanks. |
