....Sorry...T68i does not support MIDIs. It supports .imy and .emy files only! If it did support MIDIs, then well.....that would be cool.....*sigh*

I go to settings >sounds and alerts>my melodies and I select the melody number and try to enter it in. It says sending melody at the top and when I put the number in it dosent work. Please help me!!!! Finally a joke that explains what it's like to be Canadian... Once upon a time in the Kingdom of Heaven, God went missing for six days. Eventually, Michael the archangel found him, resting on the seventh day. He inquired of God, "Where have you been?" God sighed a deep sigh of satisfaction and proudly pointed downwards through the clouds, "Look Michael, look what I've made." Archangel Michael looked puzzled and said, "What is it?" "It's a planet," replied God, "and I've put LIFE on it. I'm going to call it Earth and it's going to be a place of great balance." "Balance?" inquired Michael, still confused. God explained, pointing to different parts of Earth, "For example, Northern Europe will be a place of great opportunity and wealth while Southern Europe is going to be poor; the Middle East over there will be a hot spot. Over there I've placed a continent of white people and over there is a continent of black people," God continued, pointing to different countries. "This one will be extremely hot and arid while this one will be very cold and covered in ice." The Archangel, impressed by Gods work, then pointed to a large landmass in the top corner and asked, "What's that one?" "Ah," said God. "That's Canada, the most glorious place on Earth. There are beautiful mountains, lakes, rivers, streams and an exquisite coastline. The people from Canada are going to be modest, intelligent and humorous and they're going to be found travelling the world. They'll be extremely sociable, hard working and high achieving, and they will be known throughout the world as diplomats and carriers of peace. I'm also going to give them super-human, undefeatable ice hockey players who will be admired and feared by all who come across them." Michael gasped in wonder and admiration but then proclaimed; "What about balance, God? You said there will be BALANCE!" God replied wisely. "Wait until you see the loud-mouth bastards I'm putting next to them...." PAST THIS ON IF YOU ARE CANADIAN !!!!!!!!!!!! |

Originally posted by Eug So, besides that "old phone" for my T616 is there a place to get ringtones that actually sound like a phone, and doesn't sound like some toddler's Fisher Price toy? No offence to fans of polyphonic musical ringtones... ![]() All I want is different rings, like a standard ring for my old Nokia 6190. |

Originally posted by Eug It doesn't have to be PCM. ie. It could have sounds similar to the "old phone" setting of the T610, but just a different pattern. In the meantime, I'm using only the "old phone" tone. Everything else drives me up the wall. |

Originally posted by DonkeyPuncher Anyone know a program that converts mp3/wav -> MIDI in poly? I could find only a few programs and they force filters upon conversion, so i get pianos/violins/flutes while trying to get Nirvana's Breed ringer. It's not a pretty combination, and there appears to be no Breed ringers on the net. |

This upsets me i know there has been older phones that could do this and wonder why the feature has been removed. Also can midi ringtones have voice in them like real music ringtones? If so how?
Anyone know about voice rings on the t637?

I have all 3 formats on the site. Goto http://buttrynet.dyndns.org They are on the BNET forum main portal. Note: I've been resampling them to 1-channel so the size is smaller. I decided to make a thread with resources, for noobs and veterans alike, to either make your own ringtones, convert ones that are on the net or whatever! These took me a long time to find so.... Enjoy!!! I found their aren't too many sites that have ringtones in .imy format and getting them sent is too expensive for me so I found plenty of ways to get ringtones off the net for FREE!!! (free is good!) The only catch is you need IR, Bluetooth or data cable... To get ringtones sent to your phone, the ringers need to be in .imy format or I-Melody before you can send them. For conversions from RTTL, E-Melody to I-Melody (most newer Ericsson phones use this)Download Melody Composer at: www.christersson.org Next we have to find the ringtones. Most sites want to send them to you for a fee, which I think is BS. However, as most of us who have looked for ringtones know, nokia ringtones are the easiest to find and sound the best (besides polyphonic) SO....Just go to your favorite search engine and type in "RTTL ringtones" RTTL being what Nokia's use. That's easy....as soon as you find the RTTL code all you have to do is copy and paste the code into the Ringtone converter and it will convert it into I-Melody and you send it to your phone or use Melody Composer to key it in..... here are some sites that have RTTL, Nokia Composer code, or what not This site has many, many FREE SE ringtones in the form of keypresses (for those of you w/out data transfer ability) http://www.mrtones.com/home.mt?m=8 RTTL codes.... http://www.free-ringtones.tv/ Anime Ringtones...... http://anilarm.xl0.org/ Many ringtones in Nokia Comoser format http://fir3andic3.tripod.com/ringtonesanime5.htm Converter for Nokia Composer/RTTL/Keypresses to Composer/RTTL/Keypresses. Click on ringtones in the upper right then convert. http://overtonez.co.uk/frame_me/?/tones/request.pl Basically, just get any ringtone to RTTL (if it's in Composer or keypresses) and then send it over to the Melody Composer program and convert it to I-Melody and send it to your phone or use the export button to see T68i keypresses. Sorry if all that was a lot or confused you, but I'm too lazy to see if it makes sense...... if have any questions, post them and I'll get back to them as soon as I can. See ya and have fun! |
