v551 Ring AND Vibe - enabled, but not showing up

Offset 7A, bit 4, checked (checked = 1 = on, right?).

My bit 4 is checked, but I still dont get the vibe AND ring. I even upgraded to the newer flash 8.18.40R.

Am I missing something?

im not sure if it is possible to do ring and vibe at the same time. I know with the v600 you can't...

I just picked up my V551 yesterday (Cingular 08.18.16R) and I enabled Vibe and Ring (or Vibe then Ring) in the Settings menu under Audio. I just changed the string in Style from Loud to whatever I wanted. In fact, my wife's phone had Vibe and Ring enabled from the start.

I'm new to this and with Cingular instead of T-Mobile, so I may be way off the mark here. Just throwing my experience in.

I have v551 and vibe and ring didn't work but it did work after I deleted the db files. Always delete the db files they are nothing but a headache.
