xde?

hey, i've read some things about xde and replacing defective phones. reason being, i want to look into the warrenty of my mpx220, the screen collects massive dust, the charging post is getting really picky about the angle, and now my earpeice doesn't work. what is xde, is it cingular, or moto? what is their number?

Do you mean XBM?

Exchange By Mail?

call CS and have them transfer you.

It depends. Usually they bill you 14.99 (AT&T) and they send you phone Next Day air and then you send the bad phone back in box they provide with shipping label they provide

or

you send them your phone and they fix it and they send it back.

why do you say at&t? cingular won't do that? also, does anyone have the cingular cs or xbm number off hand? i'm on vacation, and don't have anything

Dial 611 and ask to be transfered to XBM.....its that easy.

No

I mean AT&T charges you 14.99 I do not know how much Cingular charges.

but like Omega says dial 611 from your phone and ask to be transferred to XBM

It will be a refurbished phone. BUt refurb phones usually get throughly checked out, and IMO just as good as new one.
