OK, so I am in college now. I was wondering if the built in calendar can do this, or if anyone knows of the best one that can.
I want to be able to put in my whole schedule for classes months in advance... then I want to be able to add assignments for each class each day.... anyone know how to do this?

Don't know about Palm OS but with Outlook you can do this and then sync to your phone, granted that the phone supports it...like MS Smartphone or PPC phone edition...I used to have a Tungsten T2 and I put all my college classes months in advanced and even exam dates, but I had to do it all by hand on the Tungsten...it was a pain. I don't know if there is another way on a Palm device.

You can definitely set recurring appts (schedules) in the calendar. For assignments, you can set that as an appointment and/or a task, and set reminders for each!!!

I think the question is more along the lines of.... If you set up a recurring appt in Outlook can you then set a different note for each of those individual occurrences and have it sync to the Treo. I know that with an old Tungsten T I couldn't do it. Does the Treo handle these notes correctly. That's always been the problem with Palm for me.

Not an exact answer to your question, but the freeware program Due Yesterday has some of the features you are looking for.

To the best of my knowledge, if it is a recurring appt. then the note you add will apply to all the appts. I use StudentMate to handle all my assignments and projects so far so good, and it was pretty cheap.
