Outlook Distribution list question?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

With my old V600 I could create a distribution list. In outlook I can create a distribution list. From what I can tell, the distribution lists that you create in outlook (desktop) does not sync with windows mobile (mpx220). Is there a way to create a distribution list that works with windows mobile?

Thanks,

Lee

None that I can see, but I would imagine a 3rd party app is out there that would do it. Google for one or check Handango.

Googled for it, no go. Come on now anyone else have any ideas?

Distribution list is a list of email recipients that all have something that would cause you to send the same email to all of the recipients. You can name the distribution list a unique name and then assign various email recipients to it. Then you can send an email to everyone in the list with only adding one recipient, the name of your distribution list.

In other words, an Email Group. I've not needed to do this, so I'm not sure.

Exactly. It works well when you want to send a MMS with pictures and all to say, family. You can have a group or distribution list named "Family" you just select "Family" from your contact list. and it sends to everyone you had listed in the Family group. It is a standard feature in outlook (desktop version), also my Motorola V600. I think most high end phones have distribution lists in there phonebook.

There maybe a way to do this via Outook...but I am not sure...now I understand what you were talking about.

At the risk of starting a new thread, I thought I'd resurrect this one. I think I have foiund a couple of programs to manage distribution lists. One is free and the other is $15. I'm curious if anyone has tried either of these. As soon as I get another smartphone in my hot little hands, I'll give them both a try.

$15: mGALSync
