SCP-200 ring tones??

Hey all...first time poster here. I just picked up these phones yesterday and my hubby and I are wondering if we can download new ringtones anyplace? The stock ones are pretty blah but we didn't want to go someplace that was a ripoff or where the tones wouldn't work with this phone. Thanks in advance for any help.

This model is a Voice only phone so you can not send Ringtones to your self like you can with any other phones sanyo makes.. If I were you, I would take these 200s back and get the Sanyo 2300 instead if you are still withing you trial time. The 2300 model is Text Message and Internet capable, so you can send Ringtones to it no problem. Plus they look cooler with all of the extra colors they come in and the little cool Orange Caller ID outside screen.

the 2300 is worth the extra $, it doesnt take mp3 tones only qcp which sound kinda crappy anyway, but you get the outer display and cool colors.

the ring tones are supremely-important to us so we'll likely stick with these phones. we're your run of the mill voice-only users so we're not too concerned with cool colors, extra screens and text messaging *shock*.

so thanks anyway. we'll be sticking with the 200.

Well, if they are sooo important to you, and now knowing that you wont be able to add ringtones to those phones, why stay with those then? Remember, Ringtones, are "supremely-important to you"

no way to change the ring tones, but if you are ok with a normal phone, its pretty cool...it even lets you add custom stuff to the T9 directory right from the menu
