Finally found a v180 flash

after two days of searching and being annoyed by my friend i finally found a v180 flash. im just not sure if its right, its named R365_G_0B.D2.2ER_PDS004_LP001B_DRM0001_JPJAVA_G_0B _V180_01_02_62R_GSIV180CGEN1NA161_1FF and is for "cingular blue"?? whats that mean?? will it work for his v180?

Sup,
I finally got the FLASH and my custom FLEX for the V180 to upload. They are in your Yahoo box now.
Just make sure that you do the flash before the flex or you will have to redo the custom flex.
I think that your friend will be happy with them.

Sorry that it took so long, the storms last night were recking havic on my cable lines.

Anyway, enjoy and let me know if you have any questions.

could you please send me your custom flex, and a list of what's on it? I'm planning on using it on an AT&T v180..

Sorry about this, but it is just too much trouble to monitor the PM's here and on the other boards that I visit.

when my friend came over so that i can flash his v180 the screen wouldnt show. so i tried to flash it anyways and even after at least 10 trys i still got an error. i tried both pst and rsd lite. same error.

What screen wouldn't show? and what's the error? Did you put the phone into bootloader mode, or is that what you meant by screen wouldn't show?

when you open the phone the inside screen is off. the error is when it is being put in flash mode.

if you use "multiflashflex" it will put the phone into bootloader mood itself.
I recomend using that program for installing flash and flex files.

I have the V180 and am wondering, what is the reason to apply this flash? Does it improve the phone? Add new features? I am not opposed to doing it but am wondering what is gained. Also, are there instructions anywhere on how to use this download?

I have a v180 that I have flashed to try to solve a Java issue I was having and not the joystick buttons no longer work. I have tried a variety of Flash files from this forum but have not found any that will allow these buttong to wrok, can anyone offer any suggestions? I know it is not a hardware issue as I seem to have done the exact same thing with another on now!!!!!!

moto179, please, please tell me when/if you find a fix for this, I have flashed this phone so many tmes now trying to get the joystick buttons to work again it is insane! I really like this phone as well, it works great...as a phone which is the most important part to me.
