You can't download it from the SBSH Facade forum?

Can someone tell me what program is best to edit XML code. I have Drizze99 XPSE03 homescreen which I really like, but I need to edit some of the code. I tried MS Word because when I opened the code, it opened up inside internet explorer, and their was an option to edit it in Word. But when it opened in Word everything was these bubbles of crap.
I'm just rambling now, but what program should I use to edit XML. I need to change the location of the shortcuts that is in the 4th pop-up box. It currently has 9 shortcuts in its window. I completely rearranged my start menu and I have everything in folders. They are Accessories, Audio Video, Games, Programs, Utilities, and a few others. My whole start menu is now on 1 page. So I click start and these folders come up and I then go from their. I think its much cleaner, mainly because I have over 70 programs installed. But doing this prevents Drizze99 homescreen from working right.

I use Notepad....it simple, easy to use and effective. Unless you are doing some hardcore modifications you don't really need anything else.

Since I do a lot of text editing... for XML homescreen, Java and JavaScript development, and html editing (yes, all of my websites are handcoded ) I use a text editor that color-codes keywords( EditPlus ). It really helps visually discern the file structure.

I use notepad to do my editting & writing.

Notepad here as well, it's starting to get less fuzzy as far as what plugins to what and how to code them...practice makes perfect....

You know, that is really nice software! The colors make it easier to see what's going on. For 30.00, it's a deal! I'm getting it.

I use crisp for editing of C, C++, xml...........

I use Crimson Editor for C/C++, Java, etc. It has syntax highlighting and you can set it up to highlight for other (not yet supported) languages too. I used to use EditPlus before (a couple years ago) but I didnt like it too much (its prolly a lot better now).

But I used notepad to make changes to the .xml file.

Omega gets a lot of personal messages posted for him here
