Weird Happenings with 3120 MEdiaNet

So I just got a Cingular branded 3120. The girl that had it probably did not mess with any settings. So when I try to connect to MEdiaNet, it goes like it's connecting, then says, "GPRS on hold" and goes to a Data Call (I know cause it has the little boxed "D") which gets the operator message, and then goes back to "GPRS Active" and then says "bearer not available." REAL WEIRD. The number it's trying to call is 4152441012 which is weird cause I have no idea what area code 415 is, I know it's nothing around here, though. This only happens occasionally, if I keep trying, then it'll go through. I went through the Connection Settings with my 3300, which has the settings sent from Nokia and works fine. Everything was the same except for that under the IP address, on the 3300 everything had three digits, one of which was zero, and the 3120 was missing all the zeros. I changed the 3120 to match the 3300, and still get the data call thing. I tried to send the settings from Nokiausa.com, but the only thing that showed up was the 3100, and when I tried to send those settings, the phone said it couldn't read the message. Can anyone help me!?

LOL. I bought mine brand new from the Cingular store for my back-up phone and mine does the exact same thing.

Anyone know how to fix this?

so weird. Did ya'll never notice this before?? I find it really weird that the Nokiausa.com support site didn't have the 3120 listed in the phone list, only the 3100. I guess since it is basically the newer 3100?? In any case, I might try to call Nokia tomorrow. Probably won't bother with Cingular.

no i just sold it.

It sounds like it's trying to get on CSD. Poke around the settings and change something from GSM Data to GPRS. Might be it.
