Just got my audiovox phone in and want to put a divx file on it to watch. I used gspot and the fileuses a divx 3 low motion codec. Its about 50mb (old thundercat episode). When I put it on my phone it just said can't play file. what kind of program cause I use to get it to work. Quality is already horrible so im not worried about that

i do not believe there is any software for a smartphone that will play a DivX 3 file. you will probably need to re-encode the file using the DivX 4, DivX5 or Xvid codec in order to play it.

do you need a hand with some instructions on how to convert files?

Probably so its been awhile since I messed around with video file stuff. I have a few programs on my computer like dvd decrypter virtual dub gspot etc. IF you could just kinda point me in the way of a guide or give me a little help i would appreciate it. Im sending the file to my phone right now to see if it will work though ill post back if it does

nevermind it actually worked. Im sitting here watching a old thundercats episode on my phone lol. Thanks for the response though
