I'm in the mood for a new phone. I was interested in Moto V635 earlier but I would like to try smartphones too.. Few questions

I sms alot in chinese and receive msgs in chinese. Will I be able to install chinese software so I can read and send chinese msgs??? Or is it included in windows?

Am I able to use MP3 as ringtone?? I'm sure it would but, am I able to set personal ringtone to a contact so when he/she calls or SMS...i will get that tone I choose??

I've read somewhere about airplane mode.. Is there such function on mpx220? I can use the phone on plane?? Am I able to use stereo handsfree for mp3??? How's the mp3 player? playlist available?? Anyone can point me to good reviews on this phone and Windows Mobile 2003?? Thanks!!!!!

I assume you could SMS in Chinese with ROMs 1.45, 3.45, and 3.46 since they are chinese based ROMs.

Yes on MP3 ringtones and assigned MP3s to contacts, at least on calls
Yes on Flight mode
Yes on stereo handsfree for audio playback. If you install the Chinese ROMs, you'll get WMP10...or you can install something like BetaPlayer which i personally like more.
hope that answers some questions

You can set it to use Chinese language and everything will be in Chinese.

You can add personal ringtones to contacts for incoming calls. I dont know if you can add personal ringtones to for SMS though.

And it does have airplane mode so you can run software with the radio off.

Do you mean I only can send and read chinese SMS when I switch the phone to Chinese language? If I have ASIAN rom and using English language, will it able to show chinese sms and have itap chinese(pinyin) for sending chinese?

I dont know how you can send Chinese, because when youre in english language everything types in english.

I think you can receive Chinese sms when you're using english language. If it doesn't cost you extra to send txt msgs to Canada (or you dont care about the charge) I can PM you my phone number and you can send me a txt msg in Chinese and I'll tell you if I receive it and show you how it looks.

Whats Pinyin? Theres an option on the phone for Pinyin or Stroke, I dont know what they mean though.
