I'm an idiot of the highest order.

I bought an MPX-220 from Firefly in Jan 2005 - it came with a mail in rebate that I had to wait 180 days to send in... and now that time has come.

I got all my stuff together last night - the paperwork, receipts, what have you.

When it came time to make the copy of the UPC - my head dropped, my eyes closed and my heart was heavy. I forgot to remove the UPC from my box before I threw it out.. months ago.

If anyone out there has an MPX-220 box with a UPC, I will gladly pay you for your trouble if you could find it in your heart to part with it.

are u sure they will accept any UPC? wont they cross check the UPC to make sure that you actually bought it from them? did u try giving customer service a call to see if you have any other options, i am sure they can find a way.

Ah man, I feel for you. I hope someone comes through for you. I would give you mine but I too am waiting for 180 days to submit my rebates.

I thought the phone UPC's contain the IMEI of the phone and that is what is used to cross verify the phone that was sold. Maybe I am wrong.

OP - sorry to hear that. That was one expensive piece of cleaning and the reason why I do not clean out my office

I have a few boxes at home. Even if they don't honor it you have to send something in to try to get your rebate. Send me your address via PM and I will send the UPC label to you via USPS FOC.

Oh I so nearly in the same boat. I purchase two phones right about the same time and I have gone to great lengths to calculate the 180 days after activation. I think the window is 30 days to file the rebate...sucks.

I have my boxes, I just hope I don't send the stuff too early only to find 60 days later that they recieved the rebate too early, but now I am too late to refile.

I have $600 in rebates pending... ahhhh I am nervous..
