N840 Help!

i just picked up an N840 and i am having some trouble with the data cable and memory editor/nec mobile suite.

i installed the drivers for the datacable, and installed memory editor.
when i open up memory editor it basically freezes on detecting the phone.

i also tried installing NEC mobile suite, there was no 840 profiles so i used the 830... when i click get list.. it cant find my phone.

any ideas?

hmm i got the datacable drivers and memory editor working properly on a 2nd computer..

installed NEC Mobile Suite and it does not detect my phone.. no N840 profile to choose either.. what version are u guys using?

hey i have the n840 software, i think its available on nec HK's website
find the n840 on the site and download the softare, its the 2nd or 3rd link beside the phone.

the NEC hk website only has the memory editor.. which is what i ahve installed and working right now.

but what i want is to get the NEC mobile suite working as that software seems to be better.

ah, i haven't really dabbled into the mobile suite at all.. is it that much better?

i'll poke around and if i come up with anything i'll post it here.
