Ok so I finaly got around to enabling mo-sms on my boost i215 handset in Carrier(RSS). Then i went and input the service center number: +15148210053. Then I went to text my sister via the contact list on the phone with her number on verizon but she never gets the text from me. I dont seem to be geting any error messages on my phone as well when sending. Any ideas?

everytime i send my friends text's from my 860, it works perfectly, but when i send my friends messages that have verizon, it takes most of the day or the next day to get it, sometimes they do not recieve it at all

well thats no good as just about everyone i know is on verizon except for my best friend who i use dc with. Now the question is is this still a nextel problem or does telus have similar issues as nextel with their service center number delaying or loosing messages as well.

I have this problem sending to tmobile customers. They never receive it. Have you tried sending them the message without mo-sms?

yup it went through with regular messaging well there was a 5 minute delay but that prety much normal all the time between nextel and verizon here.

Are normal messages supposed to show +1504XXXXXXX (my phone number in this format on the receiver's phone) before each text message?
All of my messages read, for example:
"+1504XXXXXXX What's up?"
Is this normal, 'cause it's annoying as hell.

The mo-sms service centre number u guys are using is actually telus'. Telus is looking to release their mo-sms service officially sometime soon. This may be a reason why ur mo-sms backdoor doesn't seem to be working anymore. Soon us MiKE users can finally text from our phones
.

I realy wish nextel would get their act together and have a true mo-sms service with a service center number...but of corse no they wont :/
oh well back to using tekniwap or regular email to send texts back and forth with others.
