Go to the Opera.ini file in \Storage\Application data\Opera\

Simply append the following:

[Proxy]
Use HTTP=1
Use HTTPS=1
HTTP Server=216.155.165.50:8080
HTTPS Server=216.155.165.50:8080
Enable HTTP 1.1 for proxy=1

...and you're good to go!

I can't find the Opera.ini file in the Opera folder.

I see where the Opera.ini file is now on the phone using smart explorer. How do i exactly edit the opear.ini file?

if you have orneta word pad, you can open it with that and edit it. If not transfer the file to your computer and open it with Notepad edit it, save it and put it back on your phone where it was.

I cant get opera to work on my smt5600 wm2003se. PIE works fine however opera with no settings and your opera.ini settings do not work. It always says could not locate remote server. Im on Tmobile 4.99 t-zones as well and yes PIE works just fine as does all my other apps like agile.

Any ideas.

will this work on the e398?
i tried changing the port to 8080 but it still isnt working properly.
it shows an error screen now.

i also changed the web sessions to be html rather than wap.

i have the 4.99 plan with tmobile
