Treo 650 Freezes While in Standby Mode

A couple of times a day, my Treo 650 freezes during standby (when the screen is off). It is unresponsive when I try to turn it on with the power button, or any other button for that matter. The LED still blinks green, but I just can't get it to do anything else. Calls also do not come through when it does this. As you can imagine, it's very irritating to find that I have missed calls due to this throughout the day. The only way to get it back on is with a reset.

Do you guys think that I have a defective unit?

This is pretty much what mine was doing. I solved it by turning off the network time sync. You might read this thread:
