There is no reference to a reset function in the PDF user's guide, but I have removed and reinserted the battery several times. No joy.
Any pointers greatly appreciated. It's a nice phone but I need it to work! Has it failed completely, or is there a way to reload everything? TIA. Stephen Porter Los Angeles, CA USA stp@pobox.com |

Pressing the "0" while still holding the 2 soft keys, just starts a loop where the pop-up comes up again (and again, and again). However, if I let got of the two soft keys and try to press "0" it just goes to the normal Audiovox splash screen and then on to the "Windows Mobile" screen and freezes. I've also tried pressing the "0" while still holding the two soft keys and then letting them go, but still no reboot. I've let it go for 5-10 minutes in hopes that it was just taking a long time to reboot--do I need to let it go longer? I've had the phone on the charger overnight, so I'm assuming that the battery is OK...but I have no way of knowing for sure. If I try to do a hard reset while it is plugged into the charger, the black pop-up screen never shows up--it just goes to the Audiovox splash to the Windows Mobile splash and then hangs. Any further advice? TIA. Stephen Porter LA, CA, USA stp@pobox.com |
