Where is firmware? How 2 upgrade?

I'm usually brighter than this, but I can't seem to find how to update firmware. My Verizon 650 has firmware 1.01 and folks are talking about 1.28 -- where do I find it? Do I have to go to a retail store to have it done? tia, jan

The 1.28 software is an unlocked GSM version. I'm not sure what version Verizon users are using, but the GSM one is not for your phone. Your phone uses CDMA technology.
You may want to ask in the Verizon forum what software they're up to, but I'm pretty sure there have been no updates as the phone was just recently released.
You can check the palmone site for information as well.

I didn't realize firmware was dependent upon the phone manufacturer (or not). Thanks for clearing that up. I appreciate your answers to others on the forum as well.
