I need software for the vi-2300 for ringtones,and to connect me to the net from my pc,biypim doesnt support the sano vi-2300.i have the usb cable i just need the software,so if anyone can help me out id appreciate it,thanks in advance donfar2005.

Did you try updating your driver?

the ringtones are in .qcp format or midi not .mp3

I forgot the link explaining how to convert them but it takes some effort

I just figured out how to use Bitpim with vi 23000.
You only set up one thing and it will work.
Open Bitpim, click EDIT and then SETTING. Under PHONE TYPE, choose SCP 7300. That is it!

I have VI2300 as well and couldnt get bitpim to reconize it using above mentioned method what am I doing wrong?

I select scp 7300. However, I also need to tell you what cable I use. I use the cable from ebay. YOu can click the link to see the cable that I use http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...eName=WDVW&rd=1 . I also use newest version of bipim.
