email works fine, but bluetooth definately has issues

Has anyone found out how to enable Manual Network selection on this phone, or if it truely doesn't have ENS? I have GREAT ATT signal at home, and okay Cingular. I'd KILL to have the phone lock to ATT or be able to manually lock it to ATT. Cingular was going to make my phone search for ATT as its initial network, but said the phone is incapable of 'color swapping', or moving from the orange to the blue network as its primary. Probably something to do with its inability to use ENS?

there are 2 versions of this phone. 1 supports ENS, the other does not. I'm sure the software version would reveal the difference but I don't know what the correct version should be...

hmmms i have V 5.24 made in 23-05-5, but i just bought this one from the cingular store in orlando 5days ago, since my old 6230b was hell, but comes to find out my box has a stamp marked july 1, so im guessing its the new batches,and the box also shows 6230b_ENS , so im guessing it has ENS as well...bluetooth works flawlessly now,i wish i could say that about my old non-ens 6230b.

Send your phone to Iunlock.com and have them put on 5.35 and have the phone unbranded.

This will activate network selection(well, atleast it did on mine!).

I have an old 6230b that I just had upgraded by Evan at iunlock and I can also confirm that network select is available now on my phone with v5.35. I have no idea about ENS since I don't fully understand that.

I had mine upgraded to 5.35 and unbranded through iunlock.com but I didn't get the ability to do manual network selection.

I have a 64k SIM. If I stick in my old PacBell 32k SIM it has network select enabled.

Strange that my old SIM wouldn't do network select on 4.28 but will on 5.35.
