Question for V635 users in USA

I see great reports on this phone and it has just what I want in a new one.
But, I understand Motorola will not warranty it in the USA since it has not been "officially released". What option have you users come up with if the phone should go out to lunch in say 6 months. Are there independent repair shop that will take it?

Any things I should look for if I decide to get an unlocked one.
How's MyworldPhone for service?

if you dont have a warranty when you buy the phone, you wont have one even when it is released seeing as the phone is at prerelease status- if you buy it from overseas with a warranty you could mail it overseas for service

I have the V635 unlocked and flashed with the latest firmware. I'm looking to get rid of it because I want a black razr instead.

Looking back, i dont even know why I got the v635, but warranty never really crossed my mind.
