Anyone been getting "data calls" lately?

The past week I have started receiving "data calls" on my 6230. The phone has a different ring and gives me the option of turning on my infrared!?!

I can hit Option to "Answer the call," but the phone will not let me answer.

I've called back the numbers, but either I get a credit agency in New York, or a local person who swears they did not call me.

Anyone else experiecing "data calls?"

I've been getting the data calls also. I had three last week. I also have a 6230. I used to use a v400 and a T616 and I never had that happen before. Hmmmm...

i use to get them alot on my z500a but not now with the audiovox5600

You have to have CSD on your account for this to happen, as you have a secondary CSD number assigned to you for CSD sessions.
