Anyone have any insights about how to sync this thing in FreeBSD or Linux? It gets detected as a device on ugen0, but i cant get evolution to sync with it

I run Mepis Linux right now and am thinking about getting a 650...

Well I dont know about hwo to sync in Linux. I asked because I figured that I could have easily converted a Linux howto into a FreeBSD howto. As it turns out, i figured out how to work it in FreeBSD. It required some usbd.conf changes, the adding of two kernal modules (ucom and uvisor), and an understanding of how stupid the syncing mechanism is and how important timing is.

Oh I would also add that I can sync using palm-link directly or through evolution.
